Basma, originally from Syria, runs Panda Market in Lithuania. Store specializes in Middle Eastern goods and employs immigrants from diverse backgrounds, promoting cultural integration.
Panda Market is a general consumer goods store based in Vilnius. Through various digital platforms we advertise and sell our goods to the local people.
Out of my love for excellence, creativity, and innovation, then comes integration into this country.
I have been working in the field of tailoring for a while, but now in sales and purchasing, it’s my first time.
Learning the language
Introducing locals to Middle Eastern products
Growth of social media outreach
Expanding the variety of products sold
“Honesty and integrity in dealing with customers”
The store is based on the Middle East concept. Moreover, majority of the people involved are immigrants who come from different backgrounds.
LESSONS FOR PatENT
Increased visibility and better brand development. For now, it is hard to understand what the project is about entirely from social media outreach. If there were not local partners in Lithuania who helped a lot to familiarize with the project concept, such initiative would not interest me.
